Honoured Artist of the Republic of Belarus
Yuliya Dziatko graduated from the Belarusian State Choreographic College in 1992 and from the Belarusian State Academy of Music in 2005.
From 1992 to 2006, she danced with the Belarusian State Musical Theatre.
From 2007 to 2015, Dziatko was a principal dancer of the Bolshoi Theatre of Belarus.
In collaboration with Kanstantsin Kuzniatsou she choreographed and staged one-act ballets Waiting Room by Oleg Khodosko (2012) and Who Am I? by Sergey Kortes (2015) for the Small Stage of the Bolshoi Theatre of Belarus.
As a choreographer, she was engaged in the production of the operas Carmen by Georges Bizet (2015), Doctor Ouchithurts by Marina Morozova (2015), Macbeth by Giuseppe Verdi (2016), La traviata by Giuseppe Verdi (2017) and Salome by Richard Strauss (2018).
She also choreographs the Big New Year's Balls at the Bolshoi Theatre of Belarus.
Her repertoire with the Bolshoi Theatre of Belarus included Juliet in Sergey Prokofiev’s Romeo and Juliet, Giselle and pas de deux in Adolphe Adam’s Giselle, Kitri in Don Quixote by Ludwig Minkus, Stepmother in Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs by Bogdan Pavlovsky, pas de trois in Pyotr Tchaikovsky’s Swan Lake, Radish in Karen Khachaturian’s Cipollino, Stepsister Krivlyaka in Sergey Prokofiev’s Cinderella, the Harlot in Carmina Burana to the music by Carl Orff, Gulnare in Le Corsaire by Adolphe Adam, 7th waltz in Michel Fokine’s Chopiniana, etc.
