People’s Artist of Belarus (1992)
Tatyana Ershova was born in Riga. She’s a graduate of Riga Choreographic School. She is a laureate of international ballet contests in Varna (1974) and Moscow (1977).
From 1971 to 1976 she was a soloist at the Latvian State Opera and Ballet Theatre in Riga.
From 1976 to 1995 Tatyana Ershova was a principal soloist of the ballet company of the National Academic Bolshoi Opera and Ballet Theatre of the Republic of Belarus.
Since 1990 she has been a teacher and répétiteur of the National Academic Bolshoi Opera and Ballet Theatre of the Republic of Belarus.
In 1992 Tatyana was awarded a certificate of the 1st Sergei Diaghilev International Competition of Young Ballet Dancers in Moscow as the best teacher and répétiteur.
Her pedagogical activity at the theatre helped to reveal the talent of many ballet soloists, such as Lyudmila Kudryavtseva, Olga Gaiko, Irina Eromkina, Valeria Vapnyarskaya, Ekaterina Oleinik, Nadzeya Filipava and others.
As a teacher and répétiteur, Tatyana Ershova participated in the production of the numerous ballets, including The Sleeping Beauty, Swan Lake, The Nutcracker by Pyotr Tchaikovsky, The Little Humpbacked Horse by Rodion Shchedrin, Anna Karenina to the music of Pyotr Tchaikovsky, Anastasia by Vyacheslav Kuznetsov.
In 2003, the artist was awarded the "Lifetime in Art" prize by the Philip Morris Company.
In 2005, she graduated from the Belarusian State Academy of Music (Department of Choreography).
Her repertoire with the National Academic Bolshoi Opera and Ballet Theatre of the Republic of Belarus included Aurora in The Sleeping Beauty, Masha in The Nutcracker, Odette/Odile in Swan Lake, Kitri in Don Quixote, Phrygia in Spartacus, Carmen in Carmen Suite, Nele in Till Eulenspiegel, the title roles in Giselle and La Sylphide, Magnolia in Cipollino, Juliet in Romeo and Juliet, the Harlot in the vocal and choreographic performance Carmina Burana, etc.
With the company of the Bolshoi Theatre of Belarus, she has toured the Netherlands, Hungary, Italy, France, Spain, Portugal, Egypt, Mexico, Syria, Turkey, Germany and other countries.
