Eifman Ballet St. Petersburg will present Crime and Punishment (July 15, 16) and Anna Karenina (July 18, 19) as part of the project “Guest Performances at the Bolshoi”.
On 17 June, the premiere of Tchaikovsky's opera The Maid of Orleans at the Bolshoi Theatre of Belarus was a great success. This large-scale piece has been staged for the first time in the theatre’s 92-year history.
The Bolshoi Theatre of Belarus will open its 93rd season on 4 September with the new title in its repertoire, Pyotr Tchaikovsky's opera The Maid of Orleans. The next performance is scheduled for 5 September.
On 25 May, on the birthday of the Bolshoi Theatre, the Franco-Moroccan mezzo-soprano Ahlima Mhamdi will perform the role of the fatal beauty Carmen on our stage.
On 31 October and 2 November anniversary evenings in honour of the outstanding choreographer will take place.
