RUSSIAN BALLET. ILZE LIEPA'S STORIES

The unique evening with the participation of the ballerina, theatre and film actress, TV host and People's Artist of Russia Ilze Liepa as well as leading artists of Moscow and St. Petersburg theatres will take place at the Bolshoi Theatre of Belarus. In the programme, which will feature the real "pearls" of the world ballet art, the great destinies of Russian art are intertwined with the life of the ballerina.

The emotional story about ballet, about the history of classical dance will be told in the elegant choreography language, with the help of bright colors of dramatic theater art, and, of course, in the traditional conversational genre. From the stage Ilze will talk about her own perception of classical dance, about significant events, performances and people who played an important role in the history of Russian ballet.

This evening masterpieces of the world classics and modern compositions will be performed by the Honoured artists of Russia Igor Kolb and Mikhail Martynyuk, guest soloist of the Mikhailovsky Theatre Oksana Bondareva, soloist of the Bolshoi Theatre of Russia Maria Mishina, principal dancers of «The Kremlin Ballet» theatre Ekaterina Pervushina and Egor Motuzov.

One of the three dance numbers, that Ilze will perform, is the premiere on the stage of the Bolshoi Theatre of Belarus.
