Anna Gurieva graduated from the Odessa State Conservatory in 1993 (class of the People's Artist of the USSR, Professor Galina Polivanova).

She joined the opera company of the Bolshoi Theatre of Belarus in 1994.

In 2008, the Certificate of Honour from the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus was bestowed on the singer for her outstanding artistic achievements and considerable contribution to the development of national music.
