
Katsiaryna Slabadnitskaya graduated from the Belarusian State Academy of Music in 2000. She received her master’s degree from the same academy in 2001.
Since 2006, she has been a ballet accompanist of the Bolshoi Theatre of Belarus.
Distinguished by a fine understanding of the specifics of the choreographic language, along with excellent performing skill, she has worked on a number of ballet premieres, including Cinderella by Sergey Prokofiev; Chopiniana; Anyuta by Valery Gavrilin; The Fountain of Bakhchisarai by Boris Asafiev; The Nutcracker, or Another Christmas Story by Pyotr Tchaikovsky; Scheherazade by Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov; Giselle by Adolphe Adam; Vitaut and Anastasia by Vyacheslav Kuznetsov; The Firebird and Petrushka by Igor Stravinsky; Sechs Tänze to the music by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart; Le Petit Prince by Eugene Glebov; Laurencia by Alexander Krein; Le Corsaire by Adolphe Adam, Cesare Pugni, and others; Anna Karenina to the music by Pyotr Tchaikovsky; Peer Gynt by Edvard Grieg; The Little Humpbacked Horse by Rodion Shchedrin, etc.
