1st prize in the Elena Obraztsova International Competition of Young Opera Singers (St Petersburg, 2015)

Taras Prisyazhnyuk graduated from the Luhansk Institute of Culture and Arts in theatre and film acting and the Sergey Prokofiev Donetsk State Music Academy in academic vocal. Then he did his master’s degree at the Pyotr Tchaikovsky National Music Academy in Kyiv. His roles with the opera studio of the academy included Alfredo in Giuseppe Verdi’s La traviata and Lensky in Tchaikovsky’s Eugene Onegin. He worked with Donetsk Opera and Ballet Theatre, where his repertoire included the cantata Khustyna by Levko Revutsky and Alexander Rudyansky’s opera The Path of Taras. In 2017, he took part in a concert performance of Gioachino Rossini’s Il viaggio a Reims under the baton of Tugan Sokhiev.

In 2015, Taras Prisyazhnyuk joined the Academy of Young Opera Singers of the Mariinsky Theatre. With its opera company, he toured Spain and Italy.

In 2016, the singer joined the young artists opera program of the Bolshoi Theatre of Russia. As a member of the programme, he appeared in concerts and productions of the Bolshoi Theatre of Russia and its guest performances in Austria, France and Finland.

In 2020, he joined the opera company of the Bolshoi Theatre of Belarus.
